CONTROL THE HIRING – A PLAN OF ACTION

I ask this question? Is your union placing members on non-union jobs for the purpose of building on our manpower monopoly? If not why not!!! We must make every effort to build on and maintain a monopoly of construction workers in our Associations. We must build a unified spirit of strength. We must reinforce our values, we are stronger as one workforce, Are we working with the open shop workforce and encouraging them to join our associations’ and to join the struggle that we as craftsmen all face. It is time! Your members have waited long enough. Let’s grow our market share and monopolize the construction workers’ of our industry thru unity and brotherhood. The Labor Rising tool box is equipped with all the tools to get the job done. In other words when your local engages in an organizing drive you won’t have to shoot at the first button buck in the field, You will be trained to lure your competition in to a false sense of security and then use the entire toolbox as needed for maximum effect. Has your local been organizing strategically?  Have the open shops turned to Tradesman International and other hiring agencies to man their jobs in your jurisdiction? Labor Rising has a coordinated plan to drive temporary agencies out of your local’s jurisdiction. We must help our members, our contractors and our industry from the destructive forces of the open shop construction associations. The time is now for the Building Trades leaders to invest in a complete organizing plan. Your members need you now more than ever before.
